OK, BUT WHY?
The king-to-be George IV was known for the wild soirées he threw. In 1817, at his request, James Hennessy created a special blend for him: Hennessy VSOP. However, this famous blend had never managed to establish a strong identity of its own. So, we decided to create one that would honor its party-animal DNA.
